We will therefore make every effort to process your data in full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“General Data Protection Regulation”) or “GDPR”), as well as with any other legislation applicable on the territory of Romania. Next we want to inform you about how we process and protect your personal data when you interact with us.
We reserve the right to periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect as accurately as possible any changes in the way we process your personal data. If we make any changes, we will post the amended version of the Privacy Policy on our website, so please check the content periodically.
About us and how to contact us
THE “TECHNOLOGY ENABLED CONSTRUCTION – TEC” CLUSTER ASSOCIATION is an association constituted on the basis of O.G. 26/2000, with legal personality, without patrimonial purpose, with headquarters in Bucharest, Sector 1, Str. Alexandrina nr, 20 – 22, bl. C4, et. 2, ap. 3, cam. 7. The Association was established by the Court of 14.01.2021 pronounced by the Court of Sector 1 Bucharest.
TEC CLUSTER – “TECHNOLOGY ENABLED CONSTRUCTION” is an independent and emerging cluster to support mainly the digital transformation in construction and intelligent construction management.
For the purposes of the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”), we are a personal data controller when we process personal data.
What categories of personal data we process
As a visitor to our website you transmit (for technical reasons) your internet browser data to our server. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our internet server: date and time of the request, name of the requested file, page on which the requested file is, access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.), internet browser used and operating system used, full IP address of the requesting computer, amount of data transferred.
As a personal data controller, we process personal data on the basis that there is a legal requirement to do so. We may also process personal data on the basis of a contractual relationship. Thus, we will process data such as: name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, home address, date of birth, facial image, data about professional training, other data that may derive from the performance of a contract.
What are the purposes and grounds for processing
We will process your personal data for the following purposes:

We process personal data whenever we have a legal obligation to do so, according to Article 6 para. (1) letter c) or whenever we justify a legitimate interest in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 para. (1) lit.f) of the GDPR.

Given the specific nature of our activities, consulting in the field of construction and technology, we process personal data under Article 6 para. (1) lit.b) of the GDPR.

How long we keep your personal data
As a general rule, we will store your personal data for as long as it takes to respond to your requests/requests/questions. We will also retain your personal data associated with your visit to our website for as long as our legitimate website security interests require. You can always ask us to delete some or all of your information. We will comply with such requests, subject to the retention of certain information, where required by applicable law or our legitimate interests.

We will only transmit personal data to other TEC Cluster companies, members of the Technology Enabled Construction Association, upon request, to be processed for marketing and/or advertising purposes.
We ensure that access to your data by third parties, private legal entities or public authorities, is carried out in accordance with the legal provisions on data protection and confidentiality of information, on the basis of contracts concluded with them which will contain specific clauses.
To which countries do we transfer your personal data
We currently store and process your personal data exclusively on the territory of Romania.
We will always take steps to ensure that any transfer of personal data is carefully managed in order to protect your rights and interests. Transfers to processors, associated operators or other third parties will always be protected by contractual commitments.
How we protect the security of your personal data
We are committed to ensuring the security of personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures in accordance with industry standards.
The collection, storage and transfer of your personal data is done using state-of-the-art encryption algorithms, secure storage servers while ensuring data redundancy.
Despite our efforts to protect your personal data, we caution you that transmission of information over the Internet in general, or through other public networks, is not completely secure and there is a risk that your data may be seen and used by unauthorized third parties. We don’t take responsibility for vulnerabilities in systems we can’t control.
